The Indian Human Rights Council is dedicated to the education, promotion, protection, and support of Human Rights globally, advocating for intervention through Human Rights Defenders wherever needed.
Mission
The enduring principles ingrained in Indian culture, such as the belief that every living being deserves to live with dignity, resonate strongly with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights established in 1948.
Objective
The Indian Human Rights Council is dedicated to raising awareness within society about the fundamental human rights outlined in both the Indian Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948.
